The first day shooting of this movie was started in warangal city (at andhra pradesh state and warangal district) at 1000 pillers of temple.  They shooted some part of this making the Rudramadevi telugu film as the Queen of Kakatiya Kingdom (anushka shetty) praying to lord shiva in small mandhir at that oiller 1000 piller templer, warangal. This first scene was shooted in 14th February 2013, Such as exactly 2 years before of this movie trailer released, This film completed shooting at outside locations including the graphical works in July 2014, due to some post production things of this film got this much of late for releasing this movie.

 

The 1st scene was clapped by the famous telugu actor called Krihnam Raju and they started the movie before praying to thw lord shiva and lord vinayaka to overcome the dangerous problems while doing the shooting of this movie. The producer of this movie finally relaxed in February 2015 after completing the while whole work of this movie, AS per the tollywood talks, the actress anushka shetty shouted some powerful dialouges about the her enemies of Choala kingdom in war scenes of this movie.
